Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following contractual position to be worked at Department of Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi with the qualifications, emoluments, etc., as specified below.
1. Name of the position : Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

3. Place of work : Department of Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi-08
4. Consolidated remuneration per month: Rs.20,000/-
5. Essential qualifications :
a) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
b) Experience in the field of Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering, organising training programmes on Marine Engines repair and maintenance
c) Experience - not less than 5 years
d) Basic knowledge in computer, MS office
6. Key responsibilities :
a) To assist the course teacher during the practical classes for UG & PG programmes
b) To assist the faculty members in conducting of extension activities
Pay Scale: INR 20000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
1. Delayed receipt of applications or CV or mail will not be considered for the interview. The eligible candidates will be invited for online interview through Google meet platform (the date and time of the interview and google meet link will be sent separately).
