The age limit is 18 to 44 years as per Rule-12(1)(a)(v) of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996, reckoned as on 01-07-2026. Age relaxation: SC/ST/BC & EWS – 5 years (max age 49); Physically Handicapped – 10 years (max age 54); Ex-Servicemen – 3 years (max age 47).
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- 2nd ANM (2 posts): Either (a) SSC with MPHW(F) Training course registered with the Telangana Para Medical Board, or (b) passed Intermediate Vocational Multi-purpose Health Worker (Female) training course and completed one year of clinical training in selected government hospitals or one year of apprenticeship training in identified hospitals, registered with the Telangana Paramedical Board.
- Anaesthetist (1 post): MD in Anesthesia, or a Diploma in Anesthesia with valid registration from the Telangana Medical Council.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Selection will be carried out by the District Selection Committee based on merit. Total marks are 100, distributed as follows:
- 90 marks – aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (all years).
- 10 marks – age weightage, calculated at 0.5 marks per completed year of age reckoned from 18 years up to a maximum of 10 marks, as on 01-07-2026.
Selection follows the Rule of Reservation (RoR) and Presidential Orders 2018. Merit lists will be displayed on the District Collector's official website for transparency and candidate objections. Postings will be issued after the selection process is completed, as per merit, roster, and candidate options. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the selection process.
Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates
Candidates must enclose self-attested copies of the following documents along with the demand draft and acknowledgement card:
- SSC or equivalent examination certificate as proof of date of birth
- Intermediate / 10+2 examination certificate
- Qualifying examination pass certificate
- Marks memos of all years of the qualifying examination
- Registration certificate issued by the Telangana Medical Council / Para Medical Board (with valid date)
- Latest caste certificate from the Tahsildar / MRO (SC candidates must submit certificate as per SC Sub-classification)
- Study certificates from Class 1 to Class 7, or residence certificate from Telangana MRO if privately educated
- PH certificate (SADEREM certificate) if claiming PH quota reservation
- Ex-serviceman certificate if claiming Ex-Serviceman quota
- One passport-size photograph pasted on the application form with signature across it
- Acknowledgement card
Important Instructions: Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for one year or until the regular need ceases, whichever is earlier. Appointments are liable to be terminated if regular candidates report for duty, or on grounds of poor performance, or as deemed fit by the Chairman of the District Health Society and the District Collector. Selected candidates must maintain headquarters at the place of posting.
