Applications in prescribed format (enclosed) are invited for one (01) purely temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ICMR, Govt. of India sponsored project entitled "Integrated WGS and metabolic pathway analysis for SNPs related to drug resistance for targeted drug development" under the Principal Investigator Dr. Anupam Nath Jha, Assistant Professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT), Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam – 784028, Assam.
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech) in Bioinformatics / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / IT / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate and having qualification in NET/GATE.
4. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand) only per month + HRA as admissible.
5. Duration: Initially for a period of Three (03) months, which may be extended up to one (01) year or till completion of the project depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Selection Procedure
Short listed candidates will be invited via email for offline personal interview on a later date. Shortlisted candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificates of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
N.B. (1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
