Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/PGDM
THDCIL is looking to engage suitable and interested candidates as Senior Energy Specialist for a period of one year initially extendable further on yearly basis up to 03 years.

2. Qualification:
Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electr ical & Electronics/ Chemical) with at least 60% marks form a recognized University/Institution with full time MBA in Strategy or Business Development/Business Analytics/Engineering Management/Operation management & research from any of IIMs/ISB/XLRI or any other premier management institute
3. Experience:
Minimum 2 years post qualification executive experience of working with management consultancy firm of high repute having done projects in the field of present and upcoming renewable energy and associated energy storage and sources technologies such as Solar Power, Wind Power, Floating Solar, Geothermal, Green Hydrogen, Fuel cell, Electric vehicle, Carbon capture technologies or similar field
4. Job Profile:
The selected candidates shall be the part of Business Development team and will work closely with colleagues in different geographies and other functional groups of THDCIL. The candidate will be responsible for managing technocommercially feasible bids and proposals for different types of project assignments in the field of renewable energy sector from framing the proposal to execution of the assignments
5. Salary: Consolidated honorarium of Rs 60,000 per month. However, higher consolidated honorarium (CTC) will be negotiable deserving candidates depending their qualification and experience
6. Terms of Tenure:
i. Engagement is purely fixed term basis. The tenure will commence from the date of joining. Selected candidates will have to sign a contract with THDCIL and will be governed by the terms and conditions of employment as mentioned in the Contract
ii. Engagement will be full-time and fixed term basis. Initial period of engagement will be for one year. Based on the performance, period of engagement may be extended further on yearly basis. However, total period of contract engagement will not exceed beyond 03 years
iii. The Senior Energy Specialists so engaged will be paid consolidated honorarium Rs. 60,000.00/– per month (CTC). However, higher consolidated honorarium (CTC) will be negotiable deserving candidates depending their qualification and experience. Special Allowance shall be payable location wise as applicable in minimum basic of E-3 level Executive as applicable at place of posting
iv. Selected candidates will be entitled for 12 days casual leave, 02 days optional leave in a year and eligible for all listed holidays of the Unit/Project.

THDC India Limited (THDCIL) is a premier power sector Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) and a consistently profit-making company. It was incorporated as a Public Limited Company in July 1988 under the Companies Act, 1956, with the primary mandate of developing, operating, and maintaining the 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex. Recognizing its operational excellence and strategic importance, the Government of India conferred "Mini Ratna - Category I" status on THDCIL in October 2009, followed by an upgrade to a Schedule 'A' PSU in July 2010.
Originally, the equity of the Company was held in the ratio of 75:25 between the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP). Pursuant to a strategic disinvestment, a Share Purchase Agreement was signed on 25th March 2020 between NTPC Limited and the President of India for the acquisition of the Government of India's stake. As a result, THDCIL became a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, with the equity now held by NTPC Limited and GoUP in the ratio of 74.496% and 25.504%, respectively.
