Tehri Hydro Development Corporation (THDC) India Limited is a joint venture of the Government of India and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, The company was established in July 1988, to develop, operate & maintain 2400 MW of electricity produced in Tehri Hydro Corporation. The object clause has been amended to incorporate the development of Conventional/Non-Conventional/ Renewable sources of energy and the River Valley Project.
