Educational Qualification: Project Manager: Doctoral Degree in Science or MD or equivalent degree in health sciences with at least three years of post-qualification relevant clinical research experienc
Coordination Manager: PhD in Life Sciences/ Veterinary Science/Microbiology/ Biotechnology or relevant branch from a recognized University with atleastfour years of post-qualification experience in managing academiaindustry collaborations, should have in-depth pipeline, assays for vaccine efficacy studies, regulatory
requirements, managing BSL-3 facilities and GLP and accreditation processes.
Technical Officer- II: PG degree in Life Sciences with four years of post-qualification experience in the field of HPLC/LCMS operation and handling in a reputed bioanalytical lab

It was established in 2009 at Gurgaon. THSTI was mentored by the National Institute of Immunology (NII) and the Harvard–MIT Program of Health Sciences and Technology (HM-HST). The Institute was envisioned by former secretary of DBT, Maharaj Kishan Bhan. The center was created to enable the faster transition of lab research to market.
