Online applications are invited from bonafide citizens of India for recruitment to the temporary post of Project Officer in the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) / Directorate of Biotechnology under the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Tripura. This is a Group-A Gazetted post offering a handsome salary in the Tripura State Pay Matrix.

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Biotechnology, Fisheries, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Veterinary Science, or Biochemistry, along with at least two years of relevant experience. Eligibility for Project Officer

• Essential Qualification:
  • Must possess a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) as per Notification No.F.23(8)-GA(P&T)/2023 dated 7th July, 2023.
  • Master's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Biotechnology/Fisheries/Botany/Zoology/Physiology/Veterinary Science/Biochemistry.
• Experience: Minimum 02 (Two) years of experience in the respective field.
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.

Age Limit

Minimum age: 18 years. Maximum age: 40 years as on 07.01.2026.

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST/SC/Person with Disabilities/Government servant candidates. Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/PwD category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 years available to them.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two successive stages:

1. Written Examination: 170 marks (MCQ based), Duration: 3 hours.
2. Viva Voce: 30 marks (includes 5 marks for desirable qualification).

How to Apply

1. New users must first register their bio-data through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's website: https://tpsc.tripura.gov.in.
2. After registration, a User ID will be sent to the registered mobile number/email ID.
3. Log in using the OTPR User ID to apply for the post.
4. Pay the requisite application fee online.
5. Submit the application before the deadline.
