Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Must possess a BDS or equivalent Degree from a Medical College recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
  • Must possess a valid Registration Certificate under the Dentist Act, 1948.
  • Candidates with foreign degrees must have a Conversion Certificate recognized by DCI and pass the screening test by NBE.
  • Houseman-ship/Internship Completion Certificate required.
  • Odia Language Requirement: Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Odia. Must have passed Middle School Examination in Odia or equivalent. If not, must pass Odia examination within 4 years of joining service.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 42 years
  • Candidate must not have been born earlier than 02 January 1984 and not later than 01 January 2005.
