4. Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Social Community Development/Gender Specialist: The Consultant at SPIU will be responsible for the following deliverables along with any other tasks as assigned by the Mission Director, UKSDM: Apart from submitting Monthly Progress report and regular coordination with civil works, outreach and IEC campaigns and strategies,
5. Educational Qualification: PG in Social Sciences/ MSW
6. Work Experience
a. Must have 06 years’ experience in relevant Area.
b. Experience of working with Government at national/ State Level
c. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Experience in handling of web-based management systems.

Selection Procedure
1. Evaluation Method and criteria
Step 1: Short listing would be done based on the following criteria:
a. Educational Qualification - 30 Marks;
b. Relevant Experience - 40 Marks;
Step 2: Personal Interviews (Face to Face/ Skype): Suitability for the assignment - 30 Marks;
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interviews will be conducted based on the competencies (skills) required as per the ToR. Final selection will be done on the basis of merit/marks secured in interview process.
4. Interview for the shortlisted candidates would be either conducted face to face in Dehradun or by telephone/over skype
5. If the face to face interviews are conducted, travel cost will be borne by the shortlisted candidate .The contract shall be awarded on the merit basis.
