University of Delhi Invites Application for Assistant Professor Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited in the prescribed format (attached below) from interested persons with requisite eligibility, for inclusion of names in the panel for appointment of Assistant Professor on Ad- hoc/Guest Faculty basis in the Department/colleges for the academic year 2021-22.

1. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor

2. Qualification: The candidates should possess qualifications prescribed for the appointment of Assistant Professor as per University of Delhi/UGC norms.

a) Good academic record with at least 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, or those who passed their Master's Degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree), or an equivalent grade at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.

b) Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor conducted by the UGC/CSIR. However, the exemption form NET shall be applicable as per UGC prescribed norms/rules on production of the relevant certificate as per UGC guideline.

c) UGC regulations on Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree Regulations, 2009 and Regulations on Minimum Qualifications on Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2010.
