Advertisement for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in Chemistry Department for a DST (SERB)-funded research project CRG/2021/000248.
1. Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellow (01 No)
2. Title of the project: Designing ferroelectric materials based on 2D mixed anion inorganics.
3. Work component: Synthesizing solids by various techniques, characterize their structures. Measure the ferroelectric property of the samples and correlate them with the structure.
4. Essential qualifications: M. Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate score (5.5-grade points on a scale of 10). In addition, the candidate must have qualified CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test JRF-NET, NET-LS/ Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
5. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month (plus HRA) for 1 st and 2 nd years, and Rs. 35 000/-per month (plus HRA) for 3rd year.
6. Duration: Three years or up to the termination of the project (whichever comes earlier).
