1. Name of the Post: Research Associate (RA - I)

2. Number of positions: 1 (One)

3. Fellowship: Rs.47,000.00

4. HRA, if applicable 24% of the fellowship amount

5. Tenure of the Post: Initially for 1 year; extendable based on satisfactory performance of the RA and progress of the work

6. Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. (Chemistry or Physics) with focus on nanomaterials and/or polymer nanocomposites

7. Desirable Qualifications: Proven expertise (demonstrated by good quality research publications) in:

(i) nanomaterials and nanocomposites fabrication,

(ii) optical spectroscopy, electron and probe microscopies, diffraction, scattering and different calorimetry techniques,

(iii) electrochemical characterization techniques and electroactive materials applications. Sound understanding of plasmonics, plasmon-induced charge transfer processes, electrocatalysis and photoelectrochemistry

8. Experience: Minimum of 3 year experience in research on nanomaterials and electrochemistry techniques at the doctoral and/or postdoctoral level (demonstrated by good quality research publications)

9. Accommodation: Will not be provided by the University of Hyderabad

10. Joining the position: The selected candidate has to join the position within 10 days of receipt of the appointment order
