Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) on a plain paper or in the attached format (Form B) for the following position(s) at the Center for Neural and Cognitive Sciences as manpower under IOE. 3. Fellowship/ Honorarium/ Stipend in Rs.: 50, 000 pm
5. Essential Qualifications: Doctoral degree in cognitive science, cognitive psychology or allied sciences(awarded or submitted) from a recognized University.
6. Desirable Qualifications: Demonstrated ability in planning and conducting experimental research specific to visual cognition Proficiency in running manual reaction time/eye- tracking /virtual reality studies Proficiency in analyses of data conducted from human participants (preferably using R) using advanced statistical methods Experience in supervision of research projects, training of graduate students in
a. methodological aspects and new statistical methods Motivation to conduct high-quality research independently and secure collaborations and grants to the center. Substantial publication record in international peer- reviewed journals in cognitive science or cognitive neuroscience Motivation to teach topics related to cognitive neurosciences at MSc level.
7. Experience: Those who have a minimum of three years research experience post MSc/BE and submitted their thesis (or and about to submit the PhD thesis in a few months) are also eligible.
8. Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and they have no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University
