Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Stenographer Grade-II

  • Essential Qualification: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
  • Skill Requirements: Candidates must possess a speed in English Shorthand @ 80 words per minute and English Typing @ 40 words per minute. (OR) Hindi Shorthand @ 60 words per minute and Hindi Typing @ 30 words per minute.

Eligibility for Tax Assistant

  • Essential Qualification: A Degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
  • Skill Requirements: Candidates should possess a data entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour (KDPS) on a computer.

Eligibility for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

  • Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board.

Sports Eligibility (Common for all Posts)

  • Sports Norms: Represented the Country in an International competition; OR Represented a State or University in the National Games/Championships; OR Won a position (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) in State Level University/Inter-State competitions.
  • Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

  • Stenographer Grade-II & Tax Assistant: 18 to 27 years.
  • Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 18 to 25 years.
  • Age Relaxation: Relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (10 years), OBC (3 years), and others as per Govt. norms.

Application Fee

Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) to be paid via online mode. Note: Fee is exempted for women/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Selection Process

Selection of meritorious sportspersons will be made based on the order of preference contained in the DoPT O.M. No. 14034/1/95-Estt. (D) dated 04.05.1995 and subsequent instructions dated 04.03.2024.
