UPRVUNL (An Undertaking of U.P. Government) engaged in State Power Generation and development of Coal Fields in Dumka (Jharkhand), Invite applications from Indian citizens for the following posts on the contract basis:-
1. Post Name: Mining Engineer
2. No of Posts: 01
3. Period of Engagement on Contract basis: 03 (Three) Years
4. Place Of Posting: Shall Dumka/Ranchi (Jharkhand). be at Saharpur-Jamarpani Coal Block,
5. Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 65,000/- (Per month) CPF, Pension and any type of retirement benefits are not admissible
6. HRA: 10,000/- (Per month)
7. Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering from any institute approved/ recognized by the UGC, AICTE with ISt class Mining Managers Certificate of Competency (Coal) from DGMS.
8. Minimum Experience:
i. At least 15 (Fifteen) year post qualification experience of working in Coal Mines of which not less than 05 (Five) years should be in the position of Manager or equivalent with
ii. Minimum 05 (Five) years experience as a ISt Class Mines Manager in a Mechanized Open Cast Coal Mine having mine production Capacity of at least 3.0 MTPA, with
iii. Experience in coal mine planning, development & operation of mechanized open cast coal mines, having up to date knowledge of mining rules & regulations and experience in dealing with regulatory authorities on operational and statutory compliances.

Selection Procedure
(a) shall be based on the basis of Professional Qualification, Experience and Interview which is to be held at Lucknow.
(b) Engagement of experienced professionals shall be purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 03 (Three) years with a provision for further extension with fixed consolidated remuneration payable at the end of each month as per details mentioned alongside each of the notified position.
i. Any renewal of contract period shall be subject to evaluation of satisfactory performance by the UPRVUNL. The contract of engagement shall be liable to termination with 01 (One) month's notice on either side.
(c) Duties of Geologist & Mining Engineer are mentioned in Mineral Conservation and Development Rules 1988, Chapter VI Employment of qualified persons clause 43 & 44. Any other work/duties as decided by the Management.
(d) Interview:- Candidates shall be called for the interview at specified date, time & place at Lucknow which shall be informed to them by Regd./Speed Post/Email
