Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited was established in the year 1985 to establish and operate small, mini and micro hydel projects. Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Limited (UJVNL) is owned Corporation of the Government of Uttarakhand. UJVNL has been set up for managing hydropower generation at existing power stations and development, promotions of new hydro projects.
