Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Assistant Review Officer

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a University established by law in India or recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Essential Skills: Minimum speed of 9000 key depression per hour in English Typing.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer operation including Windows, Internet, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. The test is of qualifying nature with minimum 40% marks.

Eligibility for Assistant Librarian

  • Essential Qualification (Option 1): Degree in Law and Diploma or Degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
  • Essential Qualification (Option 2): Degree in Library Science from a recognized University with 05 years experience as Assistant Librarian or Librarian in any University of Law or Judicial Academy.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation.

Eligibility for Translator

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelor Degree from a recognized University having Hindi or English as a subject. Must have Hindi and English subjects in Intermediate (10+2).
  • Computer Knowledge: Knowledge of Computer Operation.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Degree in Law.
    • Diploma or Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.
    • Two years previous experience in Translation works from Hindi to English in Government offices, Courts, etc.
  • Qualifying Marks: General (50%), SC/ST/OBC (45%).

Eligibility for Typist

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the State Government as equivalent.
  • Essential Skills: Good knowledge of English typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on the computer.
  • Language Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Hindi and English and sufficient knowledge of operating computer.

The state of Uttarakhand officially came into existence on November 9, 2000, following the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act, 2000.
