The Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA),functions under the administrative control of Department of Renewable Energy. The prime objective of Agency is to conduct energy renewable programs including generation of power from Renewable Energy Sources. The Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA) designs and implements its own programmes which are specially suited for the State of Uttarakhand.

The Agency conducting programs like,Village Electrification / Micro Hydro Programme / Solar PU Programme / Solar Thermal Program / Bio energy program, etc.
