1. Name of the Post: Student Counsellor

2. Job Summary: Providing information and assisting the students, parents and faculties about a wide range of matters such as students' personal problems, learning difficulties and special requirements.

3. Education: PG degree in Psychology

4. Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

5. Requirements:

a) Excellent communication skills and respectful approach to all stakeholders

b) Fluency in multiple languages including English, Hindi etc.

c) Listening, assessing, and unbiased thinking skills

d) Rapport-building and problem-solving skills and passion towards profession

e) Self-awareness, multicultural competency & flexibility

f) Should be able to handle all cases with empathy, trust, friendship & patience

g) Therapeutic knowledge in dealing with students is appreciable

h) Professional domain of interaction with colleagues and subordinates

6. Location: Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India
