Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Fitter: ITI in Fitter Trade.
- Welder: ITI in Welder Trade.
- AAO(P): M.Sc in Chemistry.
- Mechanical (Graduate): B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mechanical (Technician): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Executive: BBA (Finance) or B.Com.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (Relaxation: SC/ST +5 years, OBC +3 years, PWD +10 years).
- Note: Distance, Part-time, or Correspondence qualifications are strictly ineligible.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Selection is based on a Merit List prepared using the marks obtained in the specified educational qualification. Following the merit list, candidates will undergo Document Verification and a Medical Examination by the IREL Medical Officer.
Priority Order for Selection:
- Land Affected Category candidates.
- Candidates from Mining areas/peripheral villages within 10 KM radius of Chavara unit.
- Wards of serving employees/Forum members.
- Candidates from Kollam District, followed by Kerala State.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the verification or medical process.
Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates
Candidates must first register on the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship portal (apprenticeshipindia.org) or NATS (nats.education.gov.in) using establishment registration number E08153200007.
Applications must be typed on A4 size paper using the prescribed proforma and sent via Speed Post to:
