Dearness Allowances (DA), House Rent Allowances (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and Non-Practice Allowance (NPA) are payable as per extant Government rules. Employees will be governed by the National Pension System / Unified Pension Scheme. Medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidized canteen, quarters facility in lieu of HRA, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, House Building Advance, and other benefits are admissible as per Department of Space / Central Government orders.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Nationality: Only Indian nationals need to apply.
  • Post Code 01 – General Medicine (Internal Medicine): MBBS + MD or DNB in General Medicine (Internal Medicine)
  • Post Code 02 – Physiology: MBBS + MD in Physiology
  • Post Code 03 – Aerospace Medicine: MBBS + MD in Aerospace Medicine

Foreign medical degrees must be valid and duly ratified by the National Medical Commission of India as equivalent to MBBS / MD. All essential qualifications must be recognized and registered with the Medical Council of India, a State Medical Council, or the National Medical Commission. Candidates who pursued professional courses through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible. Candidates must possess at least second class in MBBS and MD with a compulsory rotatory internship. There is no upper age limit for any of the three post codes (01–03).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The mode of selection is through Interview. An initial screening based on the submitted application will be conducted for shortlisting candidates for the personal interview.

  • The prescribed qualification is the minimum requirement and does not automatically make candidates eligible for interview or selection.
  • The final selection will be based solely on performance in the personal interview.
  • Outstation candidates called for the personal interview will be paid to-and-fro Second Class Railway fare or non-AC bus fare or actual fare, whichever is less, by the shortest route, upon successful document verification.
  • Government / PSU / Autonomous body employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the personal interview.
  • HSFC / ISRO reserves the right to place selected candidates at any of its Centres or Units situated anywhere in India.

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • MBBS Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheet with compulsory rotatory internship completion proof
  • MD / DNB Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheet in the relevant discipline (General Medicine, Physiology, or Aerospace Medicine)
  • Valid Registration Certificate from Medical Council of India / State Medical Council / National Medical Commission
  • Application fee payment receipt / challan obtained from BharatKosh / NTRP portal
  • Recent colour passport-size photograph (not older than 6 months, size 7 cm × 5 cm, plain/white background) pasted in the designated space and signed below in blue ink (selfies not allowed)
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer (for Government / PSU / Autonomous body employees)
  • Self-attested copies of all certificates, mark lists, and the fee receipt
  • Sealed envelope superscribed as "APPLICATION TO THE POST OF MEDICAL OFFICER – SD, POST CODE NO: [Enter Post Code]"
