- Assistant Librarian – Essential Qualification:
- Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 60% marks, or an equivalent professional degree with equivalent grade (6.5 on the 10-point scale, or grade 'B' on the UGC 7-point scale), with a consistently good academic record and superior knowledge of computerized library service.
- Qualification in a national-level test such as NET / SLET / SET conducted by UGC or any other UGC-approved agency.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.
- Candidates with a higher degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant discipline shall be preferred.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of application.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Stage 1 – Shortlisting: Applications will be scrutinised and shortlisted based on the Institute's requirements and norms. Fulfilment of essential qualifications alone does not guarantee an interview call.
- Stage 2 – Offline Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an offline test and/or interview. The date, time, and venue will be communicated via email after scrutiny of applications.
