Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Nationality & Language

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals.
  • Candidates must have passed Odia as a subject up to 7th standard from a recognised Board/School.

Farm Manager – Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science / Social Science relevant to Agriculture from a recognised University, or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Master's Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science / Social Science relevant to Agriculture from a recognised University.

Programme Assistant – Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science / Social Science relevant to Agriculture from a recognised University, or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Master's Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science / Social Science relevant to Agriculture from a recognised University.

Stenographer – Educational Qualification

  • 12th Class Pass or equivalent from a recognised Board / University.
  • Professional Efficiency: Dictation test in English, Hindi, or Odia at 80 words per minute for 10 minutes (25 marks); transcription on computer within specified time (25 marks).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Farm Manager & Programme Assistant

  • Selection is based purely on marks secured in the written test.
  • Written Test Pattern: 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks; duration 2 hours. Questions are subject-neutral common questions related to the job profile plus subject-specific questions.
  • Qualifying Marks: UR – 50%; SEBC – 45%; ST / SC / PWD – 40%.

Stenographer

  • Written test followed by Skill Test (Stenography).
  • Written Test Pattern: 150 objective MCQs (50 marks each from General English, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude); duration 2 hours.
  • Candidates called for Skill Test at 1:4 ratio from the written test merit list.
  • Final merit is prepared combining written test and skill test marks.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the written test or skill test.

How to Apply for OUAT Recruitment 2026 (Offline Mode)

  1. Download the prescribed application form and information sheet from the official OUAT website at ouat.ac.in.
  2. Deposit the required application fee via Internet Banking, RTGS, or Green Channel Counter (GCC) into SBI Account No. 10173711536, Comptroller OUAT, Campus Branch Bhubaneswar, Branch Code 03341, IFSC SBIN0003341. The fee is non-refundable.
  3. Fill all entries in the application form clearly in block letters.
  4. Affix a recent colour passport-size photograph in the designated space.
  5. Attach self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets of all examinations passed, and the original counterfoil of the fee deposit receipt.
  6. Super-scribe the envelope: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ................... along with Advertisement No. 6092/UAT and date."
  7. Send the complete application via Speed Post / Registered Post to the Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003, so as to reach on or before 12 November 2026 (5:00 PM).

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original counterfoil of the application fee deposit receipt.
  • Self-attested copies of H.S.C. certificate and all educational certificates & mark sheets.
  • Valid caste/category certificate from competent authority (if applicable).
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for SEBC candidates (if applicable).
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer for in-service candidates — apply through proper channel with an advance copy.
  • One recent colour passport-size photograph affixed on the application form.

Important Instructions

  • Selected candidates will be appointed as Contractual Project Staff for Krishi Vigyan Kendras. This continues only while 100% ICAR funding is in place.
  • Service is coterminous with the Central project; no terminal benefits are applicable.
  • Minimum initial service period at the KVK is one year; an undertaking to this effect must be furnished at the time of joining.
  • Transfers of KVK employees will be within OUAT's KVK network only.
  • Applications received after 12 November 2026, 5:00 PM will not be entertained.
  • Furnishing of false information will lead to disqualification or termination of service.
