Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

All candidates must be Indian nationals. Post-specific requirements are as follows:

• Research Assistant – Centre for Environment Studies, Climate Change & Public Health (02 posts): (1 post) M.Sc in Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks; NET/Ph.D. preferred; hands-on animal cell culture experience desirable. (1 post) MA/M.Sc in Economics/Geography/Geology/Public Health/Environmental Science with minimum 55% marks; NET/Ph.D. preferred.
• Research Associate – Centre for Public Policy & Governance (01 post): Postgraduate in Social Science (preferably Political Science/Public Administration/Economics/Sociology/Development Studies) with minimum 55% marks, NET/Ph.D., and at least two years of research experience.
• Research Assistant – Centre for Public Policy & Governance (01 post): Postgraduate in Social Science with minimum 55% marks; NET/Ph.D. preferred.
• Field Investigator – Centre for Public Policy & Governance (02 posts): Graduate in Social Science with minimum 55%; four-year graduation or postgraduate preferred.
• Research Assistant – Centre for North-East India Studies (01 post): Postgraduate in Social Science & Humanities with minimum 55% marks; NET/Ph.D. preferred.
• Field Investigator – Centre for North-East India Studies (05 posts): Graduate in Social Science & Humanities with minimum 55%; four-year graduation or postgraduate preferred. (02 posts for Odisha sites, 03 for NE sites)
• Research Assistant – Global Centre of Rural Studies (01 post): Postgraduate in Social Science with minimum 55% marks; NET/Ph.D. preferred.
• Field Investigator – Global Centre of Rural Studies (01 post): Graduate in Social Science with minimum 55%; four-year graduation or postgraduate preferred.
• Research Assistant – Centre for Study of Unorganized Labour (01 post): Postgraduate in Management/PMIR/Social Work/Sociology with minimum 55% marks; Ph.D./M.Phil./NET with research experience preferred.
• Field Investigator – Centre for Study of Unorganized Labour (06 posts): Graduate in Management/Social Science with minimum 55%; four-year graduation or postgraduate preferred.
• Research Assistant – Centre for Study of Language, Literature & Culture (01 post): Postgraduate in English/Odia/Sanskrit or Social Science/Humanities with minimum 55% marks; NET/Ph.D. preferred.
• Field Investigator – Centre for Study of Language, Literature & Culture (03 posts): Graduate in Social Science & Humanities with minimum 55%; four-year graduation or postgraduate preferred.
• Research Associate – High Energy and Condensed Matter Physics (01 post): M.Sc in Physics with minimum 55% marks, NET/Ph.D., and at least two years of research experience.
• Research Assistant – High Energy and Condensed Matter Physics (01 post): M.Sc in Physics with minimum 55% marks; NET/Ph.D. preferred.
• Research-cum-Academic Coordinator – R&D Cell (01 post): Master's degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks; project coordination & documentation experience, research & policy documentation skills, computer proficiency, and digital data management preferred.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility, qualifications, and experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before the selection committee at Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email or phone. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to attend the selection committee or to join the first appointment. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
