Note: The remuneration is consolidated without any allowances, except HRA (if permitted by funding agency) for Class 'Y' city (Rajkot). The initial tenure is 11 months.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Laboratory Technician:
  • Essential: Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized University/Institute/Hospital OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a course of at least 2 years OR Diploma/Certificate in MLT from a course of at least 1 year from a recognized University.
  • Desirable Experience: 1 year experience in a medical laboratory for 2-year diploma holders OR 2 years for 1-year diploma holders OR 1 year for Graduates, from recognized Central/State Government hospitals, Institutes, Autonomous, or Private Institutes.

Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD General (10 years), PwBD OBC (13 years), PwBD SC/ST (15 years).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Stage 1: Screening. Applications will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee.
• Stage 2: Written Test. An MCQ-based written test will be conducted. A maximum of 6 candidates per post with the highest marks will be shortlisted for the interview.
• Stage 3: Interview. Final merit will be calculated based on 80% weightage for the written exam and 20% for the interview.
• Date & Venue: 10th December 2026 at Research Cell, Academic Block, 3rd Floor, AIIMS Rajkot. Reporting time: 09:00 AM.
• Terms: Candidates must bring original documents. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required for candidates currently in Government/PSU jobs. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
