Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc. in any branch of Plant Sciences with NET qualification.
• Desirable: Experience in the field of Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Plant Pathology.
• Project Name: "Characterization of Chickpea Germplasm Resource to Accelerate Genomics Assisted Crop Improvement" (GOI-5049-57), funded under DBT.
• The fellowship is contractual and co-terminus with the project duration or availability of funds.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be made through a work-specific interaction (not a formal written examination).
• The work-specific interaction will be held on 22 October 2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Head, Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, COA, CSKHPKV, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.
• Only shortlisted candidates who submitted valid offline applications on or before 19 October 2026, up to 05:00 PM will be considered for the interaction.
• No separate communication regarding shortlisting or selection shall be made by the university.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the work-specific interaction.
