Selection Procedure: Walk-in Interview. Candidates must first undergo document verification between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM; only then are they allowed to appear for the interview.

- UR/OBC: ₹500 (as per main notification) / ₹300 (as per Annexure-A). Please verify the exact fee on the official website.
How to Attend the Walk-in Interview
Candidates who wish to apply for the ESIC Gwalior Recruitment 2026 must attend the walk-in interview in person. There is no online application process.
- Prepare Application: Download and fill the prescribed application form (Annexure-A) from the ESIC website. Attach a recent passport-size photograph.
- Attach Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents (as listed in the notification).
- Prepare Demand Draft: Prepare the Demand Draft for the applicable application fee (if any).
- Reporting Time & Venue: Report to the venue on 29 July 2026 (or subsequent 3rd Wednesday) between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Latecomers will not be allowed.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Selected candidates must also submit a security deposit of ₹10,000 via DD/Banker's Cheque in favour of 'ESIC Fund A/c No.1', payable at Gwalior, which is refundable after successful completion of the contract.

Key Terms & Conditions
- Rolling Recruitment: This is a monthly walk-in process. Interviews are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month until vacancies are filled. No separate advertisements will be issued in newspapers; candidates must check the ESIC website regularly.
- Security Deposit: Selected candidates must furnish a refundable security deposit of ₹10,000.
- Agreement: Selected candidates must sign an agreement on a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of ₹1,000.
- No Private Practice: Private practice is strictly prohibited for engaged Specialists and Senior Residents.
- Indemnity Insurance: Specialists must hold a professional indemnity insurance policy (minimum sum assured: ₹10-30 lakh depending on specialty) and submit proof within 7 days of engagement.
- No Accommodation: No hostel accommodation, quarters, or uniform will be provided.
- No Regularization: The contractual engagement confers no claim for regularization, PF, pension, gratuity, seniority, or promotion.
- Termination: The contract can be terminated by either side with one month's prior notice, without assigning any reason.
- Priority: Full-time Specialists get priority over part-time appointees. If a regular incumbent joins, the contractual appointment will be terminated immediately.
