Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
The qualifications for all three faculty posts must conform to the norms prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Candidates are expected to possess the following minimum criteria:
- Professor (6 Posts): MBBS with relevant Post Graduate qualification, eligible as per NMC norms for appointment as Professor, with adequate teaching and research experience. Age must be less than 69 years (inclusive of all category relaxations). Must be registered with Karnataka State Medical Council (KMC)/NMC.
- Associate Professor (16 Posts): MBBS with relevant Post Graduate qualification, eligible as per NMC norms for appointment as Associate Professor, with prescribed teaching and research experience. Age must be less than 69 years (inclusive of all category relaxations). Must be registered with KMC/NMC.
- Assistant Professor (12 Posts): MBBS with relevant Post Graduate qualification, eligible as per NMC norms for appointment as Assistant Professor. Age must be less than 69 years (inclusive of all category relaxations). Must be registered with KMC/NMC.
- Publications / Research: Candidates must carry any other documents or publications as prescribed under NMC criteria for faculty appointment.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Document Verification (26 October 2026): Eligible candidates must report for registration between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at the Office of the Dean, ESIC Medical College, Kalaburagi. All original certificates will be verified and scrutinised by the Scrutiny Committee. The application fee Demand Draft will be submitted at this stage.
