Punjab Police SI Syllabus 2026 & Exam Pattern
The official Punjab Police SI Syllabus 2026 has been released by the Punjab Police. Candidates preparing for the Sub Inspector post should review the complete syllabus and exam pattern outlined below.
Exam Pattern Overview
The selection process includes a Computer Based Test, PMT, PST, Document scrutiny, Medical Examination, and Document Verification. The CBT consists of three papers:
- Paper-I: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Punjabi (100 questions, 400 marks, 2 hours)
- Paper-II: Logical & Analytical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, Digital Literacy & Computer Awareness, English Language Skills (100 questions, 400 marks, 2 hours)
- Paper-III: Mandatory Qualifying paper for the Punjabi Language (50 questions, 50 marks, 1 hour)
Paper-I and Paper-II questions carry four marks each. Paper-III is qualifying in nature with 50% marks as the criteria and marks are not counted for merit.
