Educational Qualification

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for JKSSB Class-IV (MTS) / Sanitation Worker posts shall be based on a Written Test (Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions) and Additional Points allocated as per the provisions of S.O. 184 of 2020 dated 04-06-2020.

  • Questions will be set in English Language only.
  • Negative Marking: 1/4th (one-fourth) of marks assigned to each wrong answer will be deducted.

Merit-Cum-Preference Method

  • The overall merit of the candidate shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the written test plus additional points.
  • The Services Selection Board shall allocate cadres and departments in favour of successful candidates using the merit-cum-preference method.
  • Cadre and department allocation, once notified by the JKSSB, shall be final and binding.

TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance will be paid for attending the written test examination.

Important Instructions for Filling Online Application

  • Candidates must write their Name, Date of Birth, Father's Name and Mother's Name strictly as given in the Matriculation Certificate; otherwise candidature may be cancelled at Document Verification.
  • Request for change or correction in any particulars in the application form, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • Candidates are advised to upload their live photograph and signature (Size: 10 KB to 20 KB). Applications with blurred or illegible photograph/signature will be rejected.
