Job Description
The Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
- Taking detailed initial history.
- Obtaining consents for tests.
- Transcribing protocols on the Medical Oncology Information System (MOIS).
- Counselling patients about side effects and dosing.
- Counselling about adverse events, co-morbidity, and drug interaction checking.
- Making online prescriptions after consultant approval.
- Checking the completeness of drugs from the Pharmacy (adequacy & type).
- Follow-up checks: verifying follow-up dates, investigations, and compliance to therapy.
- Follow-up checks: Grading chemotherapy toxicity.
