A total of 5 vacancies are available for Scientific Officer 'D' and Scientific Assistant 'B' posts.

Eligibility Criteria

1. SCIENTIFIC OFFICER 'D' (PUBLIC HEALTH)

• Educational Qualification: Master of Science / Master of Public Health / M.B.B.S.
• Essential Experience: 05 years (for M.Sc/MPH) or 10 years (for MBBS) of organizing field activities, particularly cancer screening programmes.
• Desirable Experience: Experience with National/International organizations in conducting screening and training field staff.
• Age Limit: 40 Years as on 04/03/2026.

2. SCIENTIFIC OFFICER 'D' (INSTITUTIONAL REVIEW BOARD)

• Educational Qualification: MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/Pharm D with PG Diploma/Degree in Clinical Research OR PG Degree in Clinical Research OR PG Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy with PG Diploma in Clinical Research.
• Essential Experience: 03 years (for MBBS etc. with PG Diploma) or 05 years (for PG Degree in Clinical Research/Life Sciences) in the relevant field.
• Desirable Experience: Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements for Clinical Trials in India.
• Age Limit: 40 Years as on 04/03/2026.

3. SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT 'B' (NUCLEAR MEDICINE)

• Educational Qualification & Experience:
  • B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Nuclear Medicine) with PGDFIT/DMRIT and RSO Level-II (Nuclear Medicine) from RPAD/AERB.
  • OR B.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology + PGDNMT (4 years integrated) and RSO Level-II (Nuclear Medicine) from RPAD/AERB.
  • OR B.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology (3 years) and RSO Level-II (Nuclear Medicine) from RPAD/AERB with minimum 01-year experience post-qualification.
  • OR M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology or Equivalent and RSO Level-II (Nuclear Medicine) from RPAD/AERB.
• Age Limit: 30 Years as on 04/03/2026.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 05 Years
• OBC: 03 Years
• PWD: 10 Years (additional 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC)
• Ex-servicemen: Length of service in Armed forces plus 03 years.
• TMC Employees: Maximum 05 years relaxation.
• Age relaxation is **not applicable** if the post is only for an unreserved category.

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidates must be Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders.
• Candidates are required to have a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings must apply through proper channel and produce permission at the time of Interview.

Examination Structure & Selection Process

The selection process will vary based on the number of applications received and the decision of the competent authority. The general modes of selection are:

• Posts at Sr. No. 1 & 2 (Scientific Officer 'D'): Selection will be based on Interview.
• Post at Sr. No. 3 (Scientific Assistant 'B'): Selection will be through a Written Examination followed by an Interview.

Written Examination Details (for Scientific Assistant 'B')

• Mode: MCQ/Subjective type questions.
• Total Marks: 100 Marks.
• Syllabus: Questions will be based on the respective area of specialization/expertise. No specific syllabus is detailed in the advertisement.
