Established in 1984, ADA plays a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge aeronautical technologies and the design of advanced aerospace systems for the Indian Armed Forces.
ADA's primary focus is on the design and development of aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and related systems. The agency collaborates with various defense and research organizations, including the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), to achieve its objectives.
