Basmati Export Development Foundation (BEDF) founded by APEDA (Ministry of Commerce & Industry) invites applications for following positions for engagement on contractual basis initially for a period of one year which will be extendable based on satisfactory performance. The positions are for its Training and Demonstration Farm and state of art Laboratory situated at SVP University of Agriculture & Technology, Modipuram, U.P/ Head Quarter, New Delhi.

1. Post Name: Scientists 

2. No. of Post: 02

3. Educational Qualification: Post Graduate in Agriculture preferably in Agronomy/ Plant Protection (Entomology/ Pl.Pathology)/Agriculture Extension etc.

4. Experience: 

a) 2 years experience in Crop production/ Plant protection related matter including judicious use of pesticides and MRL issues.

b) Experience in market excess related issues and extension activities with farmers shall be preferred

5. Salary/ month (consolidated): Rs.70,000/-

c) Preparation of Market Promotion Strategy

3. Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry/ Ind.Chemistry/ Food Technology/ Enviornment Science

4. Experience: 2 years experience in Food/Chemical/Microbial Testing Laboratory with

a) Analysis of rice/other agri-commodities for Pesticide residues.

b) Analysis of pesticides samples for their quality standards.

c) Handling of equipment like LC MS-MS and GC MS-MS etc.

5. Salary/ month (consolidated): Rs.35,000/-

c) Handling of equipment like LC MS-MS and GC MS-MS 

5. Salary/ month (consolidated): Rs.25,000/-
