Non-Research Management

Educational Qualification:
Project Coordinator:
(i) Doctoral degree in Nematology / Plant Pathology / Entomology with specialization in Nematology including relevant basic sciences.
(ii) At least three years experience as Principal Scientist / Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37,400-67,000/- with Research Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/- (pre-revised)
(iii) Evidence of publications / activities / contributions to suggest that the candidate has a broad vision / perspective on Agricultural Research.

Head of Division, Head of Regional Station/Centre:
(i) Doctoral degree in Post-Harvest Technology / Food Science / Food Technology / Fruits & Horticulture Technology / Agriculture Processing Engineering / allied disciplines.
(ii) At least three years’ experience as Principal Scientist / Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37,400-67,000/- with Research Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/- (pre-revised)
(iii) Evidence of publications / activities / contributions to suggest that the candidate has a broad vision / perspective on agricultural research.

Senior Scientist-and-Head, KVK: Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences with 8 years' experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/Rs. 6000/Rs. 7000/Rs. 8000 equivalent or more remuneration whichever is applicable having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact. OR Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences with minimum 8 years' experience of high-quality postdoctoral research in an institution/organization as evidenced by at least 6 publications in journals with NAAS rating of 7.5 or above.

Pay Scale:
INR
1,31,400-2,18,200/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 60 years.

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/Divyang categories and women need not pay any fee.
