AIIMS Bibinagar Invites Application for Research Scientist-I Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for filling up of following posts under the Medical College Level Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL), Department of Microbiology, AIIMS, Bibinagar, Telangana, for a period of one year purely on contractual basis as per below mentioned details:

Admin/Medical College-VRDL/AIIMS.BBN/Contract/2022/002

1. Designation: Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

2. No. of Post : 01

3. Consolidated Fixed Salary (per month) : Rs.60,000/-

4. Nature of Employment: Contractual

5. Duration of Employment: One Year (12 Months) extendable to three years, depending on the candidate’s performance and budget grant from the funding agency.

6. Essential: MSc Medical or General Microbiology /Virology /Biotechnology /Molecular Biologyfrom recognized university

7. Desirable: PhD in Medical Microbiology/Virology/Biotechnology/Molecular biology/Life sciencesfrom Recognized university Experience in research & diagnostics in any project Teaching experience in relevant subjects in medical college Knowledge of computer applications or data management. Publications in the relevant subject in indexed journals

8. Job description: Need to perform routine VRDL diagnostic work/projects. Real time assessment of any viral outbreak if occur in VRDL catchment area. Ensure the proper sample collection and its transportation by health workers in case of laboratory investigation of any viral outbreak. Ensure timely diagnosis of all viral disease investigation done in the laboratory. Writing skills tocompile any significant laboratory work for publication in reputed journals. Need to compile laboratory work for quarterly/half yearly / annual report and day to day reports requested by the DHR. Completion of any work assigned by PI and Co-PI in smooth functioning of VRDL

Selection Procedure

1. The applications received will be scrutinized by the selection committee. Recruitments will be made through Interview and a written test will be conducted if the eligible candidates are more than 50 per post. Selection is based purely on merit basis.
