AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 1 Post

AIIMS Guwahati has released a notification for the recruitment of contractual positions at the Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF), Department of Psychiatry. This recruitment is under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) supported by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE).

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online and via registered post. The last date to apply is December 31, 2025.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility for Senior Resident/Specialist Medical Officer

• Essential Qualification: MD/DNB - Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry from an NMC recognized institution.
• Desirable:
  • Any post-doctoral/fellowship qualifications including PDF/DM in Addiction Psychiatry.
  • At least 2 research publications in PUBMED indexed journals.
  • Research experience in mental health related projects.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit 40 years (as on the last date of application).

Salary / Emoluments

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,40,000/- per month. No other allowances or facilities will be admissible.

Important Dates

• Date of commencement for online application: 20th November 2025.
• Last Date for receipt of Offline and Online applications: 31st December 2025 up to 4:00 PM.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the following:

• Shortlisting of applications.
• Interview/Written Test (if conducted).
• Document Verification.

Note: Shortlisting is provisional and subject to verification of hard copy documents. Mere shortlisting does not entitle a candidate to an interview or selection.

Applications will be considered complete only if both online and offline hard copies are received by the Nodal Officer before the deadline.
