Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• For SRF/JRF/Young Fellows/PA:
  • Essential: B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science/related areas, OR M.Sc./M.Tech in Mathematics/Computer Science/related areas, OR Ph.D. in Mathematics/Computer Science/related areas from a recognized Institute/University.
  • Desirable: Preference given to candidates with coursework/research experience in Cryptology, Quantum Cytology, or Coding Theory.
• For Project Linked Personnel:
  • Essential: Graduate in any discipline with 1 year of working experience in any project or computer-related job. Proficiency in documentation and technical drafting is required.

2. Age Limit & Relaxation

• Age Criteria: Preferably should not exceed 35 years.
• Age As On: July 1, 2025.
• Relaxation: Usual relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Differently-abled candidates as per government norms.
• Experience Relaxation: Additional relaxation of age is applicable for candidates possessing additional years of experience over and above the essential criterion.

3. Mandatory Requirements

• Essay Component: Candidates must submit a 500-word essay along with their resume via email.
  • For SRF/JRF: "How would you plan to explain basic cryptology to our students with a mathematics background at 10+2 level and school-level programming knowledge?"
  • For Project Linked Personnel: "Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Project Phase-III initiatives and how you can contribute to this project as a Project Linked Personnel."
• Documentation: Scanned original credentials, self-attested photo ID card.

Selection Process

This is a Direct Recruitment process based on the evaluation of the resume and the submitted essay.
