Attention Job Seekers! The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal has released a recruitment notification for the position of Project Technical Support-III (Statistician). This is a contractual position under an ICMR-funded project. Candidates with a graduate or postgraduate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics are eligible to attend the walk-in-interview.

Vacancy Details

Essential Qualification

• Three Years Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Bio-Statistics/Statistics.
• Graduate degree in relevant subject/field with three years post qualification experience OR Postgraduate degree in relevant subject/field.
• For Engineering/IT/Computer Science: Four Years Graduate Degree.

Experience & Skills

• Experience: Prior experience in data management and analysis in a community-based project is required. Experience from reputed national/international organizations will be considered. All experience shall be counted after the date of completion of Minimum Essential Qualification.
• Desirable: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, R software, JAMOVI etc.
• Other Requirements: Candidates must have a valid driver’s license for a two-wheeler and car. A "No Objection Certificate" is required for candidates employed in government or other funded research projects.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 35 years as of the Walk-in date (21.01.2026).
• Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates, Retired Government Employees, Departmental Candidates, and ex-servicemen as per Central Government rules.
• Age relaxation to the extent of services rendered in research projects will also be admissible.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a Walk-in Written Test and Interview. The test/interview will cover Research Methodology, Human Resources & Financial Management, Social Science Research, Anemia, Biostatistics, and Data analysis.
