The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, has invited applications for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical). This recruitment is for the project titled "Advancing multimodal fetal monitoring during labour to improve pregnancy outcomes using a novel sensor and artifical intelligence (AIU-3)". Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

• Essential Qualification:
  • First class Post Graduate Degree in Science field, including the integrated PG degrees.
  • Second class Post Graduate Degree in Science field, including the integrated PG degrees with PhD.
• Desirable Qualification & Experience:
  • Experience in clinical research or related field.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills as well as verbal communication skills including a good command of English required.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good organizational behavior and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and investigators.
• Age Limit: 35 Years (Upper age relaxation for SC/ST up to 5 years and OBC up to 3 years).

Job Responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of clinical activities at the assigned study site.
• Obtain written informed consent from participants in compliance with ethical standards.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely data collection and documentation.
• Address and resolve site-level queries efficiently.
• Oversight of activities related to outcome assessment and facilitate smooth implementation of study procedures according to protocol and GCP guidelines.
• Coordination between investigators, project conduct team, data management team and monitoring team.
• Tracking progress of project with updates; safety reporting within the prescribed timelines.
• Monitoring deliverables; and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Review and verification of completed CRFs in a timely manner, before they are transmitted to data management team for entry.
• Timely resolution of queries in data collected.
• Ensuring timely follow-up visits and related data collection.
• Coordinating the smooth flow of data from collection to data entry in electronic platform.

Important Instructions

• The engagement is purely temporary in the said project.
• The candidate engaged for the above position will have no claim for a regular appointment at AIIMS.
• No TA/DA will be given for the interview.
• Salary is as per ICMR rules.
• Late/Delayed/Incomplete/Unsigned applications will not be considered.
• The initial recruitment is for 3 months only. It may be extended till the duration of the project (6 months extension) based on satisfactory performance.
• Candidates, who fail to bring the original certificates at the time of joining, will not be allowed to join the selected post.
