Educational Qualification:
Assistant Fisheries Development Officer: 1) Master Degree in Fisheries Science from a recognized university (OR) M.Sc. in Zoology/Marine Biology with specialization in Fisheries from a recognized university. 2) One Year experience in the field of inland and Marine Fisheries Development.
Sub-Inspector of Fisheries: 1. Pass in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (XIIth Std.) in Science Stream with Biology as one of the subjects from a recognized Board/Institution. 2. Pass in Secondary School Examination (Xth Std.), from a recognized Boards/ Institution (AND) Training as Gear Technician or Fishing Second Hand from CIFNET, Chennai/Cochin. (OR) 1) Pass in Secondary School Examination (XthStd) (AND) Diploma course in Fishery Engineering/Fishing Boat Skipper conducted by any Govt. Polytechnic.
Plant Operator and Mechanic: 1. 10th Passed from a recognized Board/University. 2. ITI Trade Certificate in Refrigeration Mechanism from a recognized Industrial Training Institute. Desirable:- 03 Years experience in Operation maintenance and handling of the Ice Plant, Cold Storage, Frozen Plant & Storage.
Fisheries Field Assistant: Must have passed Secondary School (Xth Standard) examination from recognized Board/University. Desirable:- Training from Fisherman Training Centre, Port Blair/Car Nicobar.
Multi-Tasking Staff: Must have passed Secondary School (Xth Standard) examination from recognized Board/University. Desirable:- 1) Training in Basic and refresher courses in Home Guard and Civil Defence. 2) Ability to stitch Files/Records and its maintenance.
Safaiwala: Must have passed Secondary School (Xth Standard) examination from recognized Board/University.
Light Vehicle Driver: 1) Secondary School Examination (10th Passed) from a recognized board. 2) Must Possess a Valid Light Vehicle Driving License 3) Must qualify trade test/professional test.
Diesel Mechanic: 1) Secondary School Examination (10th Passed) from a recognized board. 2) Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic from recognized ITI. (OR) (1) Trade Certificate on Fisheries Marine Engineering imparted by govt. polytechnic, A&N Administration. Desirable:- Should know swimming
Fitter: 1) Secondary School Examination (10th Passed) from a recognized board. 2) Trade Certificate as Fitter from a recognized ITI. Desirable:- Minimum 03 years experience as a Fitter in workshop of either Govt. of Public undertaking or in the Training Institute.
