Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university approved by AICTE and UGC.

• AEE (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• AEE (Telecom): B.E./B.Tech in Telecommunications / Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• AEE (Civil): B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Note: Final-year students are NOT eligible. All qualifications must be acquired by the last date of application.

Age Limit (As on 01/07/2026)

Local Candidate Status: Reservation is applicable as per G.O.Ms. No. 45. Candidates must have studied or resided in the APSPDCL local area districts: SPSR Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor, Annamayya, YSR Kadapa, Nandyal, Kurnool, Ananthapuramu, Sri Sathya Sai.

APSPDCL AEE Selection Process & Exam Pattern 2026

The selection is based on a Common Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Certificate Verification.

Exam Pattern Overview

• Mode: Computer Based Test (Online)
• Duration: 3 Hours
• Total Marks: 100
• Negative Marking: No Negative Marking
• Language: English Only

After the CBT, an Initial Answer Key will be released. Candidates can file objections within 7 days. A Final Merit List will be prepared based on CBT scores (1:1 ratio for Certificate Verification).

APSPDCL AEE Salary & Service Bond 2026

Remuneration

During the 2-year probation period, candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 75,000/-. Upon confirmation, they will be placed in the Time Scale of Pay: Rs. 86,245 – Rs. 2,08,915 (RPS-2022).

Service Bond

A mandatory service bond of 7 years (2 years probation + 5 years service) is required. Resignation during this period attracts a penalty of up to Rs. 10,00,000/-.
