Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent) in Social Work or relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar, OR hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 with exemptions for candidates registered before 11 July 2009 meeting specific conditions.
- Alternatively, Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in top 500 by QS, THE, or ARWU (Shanghai) is acceptable.
- Note: NET/SLET/SET not required for disciplines where it is not conducted by UGC/CSIR.
