The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre for Disability Sports (ABV-TCDS), Gwalior, functioning under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, invites applications for the recruitment of 02 posts on a Deputation basis.

Recruitment Type: This is a Direct Recruitment/Deputation based on interview. No written examination will be conducted; selection will be based on the merit of the candidate's service record and interview performance.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Deputy Director (Sports)
- Education: Graduation from a recognized university.
- Experience (Deputation):
- Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis in Sports Administration, OR
- Officers in Level-10 with 5 years regular service in Sports Administration, OR
- Officers in Level-8 with 10 years regular service in Sports Administration.
- Desirable: Degree/Diploma in Sports Management or Sports Coaching; Experience in handling Disability Sports activities.
2. Administration & Account Officer
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Economics/Business Administration (or related subject) from a recognized University. Must have working knowledge of computers.
- Experience (Deputation):
- Officers holding analogous posts dealing with accounts, administration, finance, etc., OR
- 5 years regular service in Level 8+ dealing with accounts/admin/finance, OR
- 8 years regular service in Level 7+ dealing with accounts/admin/finance.
Physical Standards & Disability Requirements
Critical Note: These posts are specifically reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The suitable categories of disability for the post of Deputy Director are:
- Blindness (B), Low Vision (LV)
- Deafness (D), Hard of Hearing (HH)
- Locomotor Disability (OA, BA, OL, BL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV, MDy)
- Mental Illness (MI)
- Multiple Disabilities (excluding Deaf-Blindness)
Functional Requirements: The job requires capabilities in Sitting (S), Standing (ST), Walking (W), Manipulation by Fingers (MF), and Reading & Writing (RW).
Age Relaxation
The maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. Since this is a deputation post for Govt servants, standard statutory age relaxations apply as per Govt. of India norms.
Selection Procedure
Since this is a Deputation recruitment:
- No Written Exam: There is no preliminary or mains examination.
- Interview: The Group A level posts will be filled via an Interview.
- Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates whose service records meet the criteria will be called for the interview.
- Documents: Selection is subject to verification of ACRs, Integrity Certificates, and Vigilance Clearance.
