Applications are invited for filling up 07 posts of Clerk and 3 posts of Stenographer I Grade-Ill (on Adhoc basis), against vacant posts, initially for a period of six months or i till the regular appointments are made by Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court. Chandigarh.
1. Position: Clerk (Adhoc)
2. No of Post: 07
3. Qualification: The candidates should possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized University and has passed the Matriculation Examination with Punjabi as one of the subjects.
4. Pay: Fixed Monthly Salary/ Enrollment (fixed by Deputy Commissioner Barnala form time to time) (Being Minimum Wages) as per Punjab Government Letter No. 7/204/2012-4FPl/ 66 dated 15.1.2015, further revised vide Punjab Govt. letter no. 7/204/ 2012 4FPl/ 1049 dated 21.12.2015 or as admissible from time to time.

3. A written test (English composition and General Knowledge) and computer proficiency test will be conducted for the post of Clerks (Adhoc basis).
4. A shorthand and computer proficiency test for the post of Stenographer Grade-Ill (Adhoc basis) will be conducted. Venue and schdedule of the tests/interview will be uploaded on the official website of this Sessions Division later on.

Barnala is 20th district of Indian state of Punjab. It is well known City in the centre of Malwa region. Barnala was declared district in 19th November, 2006 by partitioning the erstwhile Sangrur district. Barnala is a small district both in terms of population and area. The district is surrounded by Ludhiana and Moga districts in North, Sangrur district in East, Mansa district in South and Bhatinda district in South- west. It has diverse population supporting local industries and food business. Seat of Parliament is attached with Sangrur.
Barnala is situated in the heart of Punjab. Before upgrading the status of Barnala as a District, it was a part of Sangrur district. District Barnala has two sub-divisions Barnala and Tapa, three sub-tehsil Tapa, Bhadaur, Dhanaula and three blocks Barnala, Sehna and Mehal Kalan. District has 5 Municipal committees. It consists of 17 kanungo circles, 170 patwar circles and 207 revenue villages with the district headquarter at Barnala. There are 130 villages and 158 Gram Panchyats.
