BHEL Transformer Plant, Jhansi has announced 4 tentative vacancies for Part Time Medical Consultants across four departments. Each position requires a minimum of 3 working hours per day, 5 days per week.

Note: Number of posts are tentative and subject to revision by BHEL Management. Engagement is purely part-time, temporary and against no permanent sanctioned post.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

All candidates must hold degrees recognized by the Medical Council of India (now National Medical Commission) and must be registered with the Medical Council of India or the relevant State Medical Council.

• MD/MS/DNB/MDS Holders: Remuneration of Rs. 640 per hour
• PG Diploma Holders: Remuneration of Rs. 520 per hour
• MBBS Degree Holders: Must have minimum one-year post-qualification experience; Remuneration of Rs. 400 per hour
• Diploma Categories: DDVL (Diploma in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy), DCH (Diploma in Child Health), DLO (Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology)

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 65 years as on 01/10/2026, relaxable up to a maximum of 70 years at the discretion of BHEL Management.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be made purely on the basis of a walk-in personal interview conducted at the BHEL Hospital premises.

• Mode: Personal Interview only – No Written Test
• Interview Dates: 08 October 2026 to 15 October 2026
• Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM each day
• Venue: BHEL Hospital, Transformer Plant, Jhansi
• Documents: Application in prescribed format (downloaded from official notification PDF) along with originals and one set of self-attested photocopies
• Extension: Interviews may be continued on the next working day if not completed on the assigned date
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview

Key Employment Conditions

• Engagement is purely temporary and part-time for an initial period of one year, renewable up to a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and management discretion
• This is not against any permanent vacancy; no lifetime pension or permanent government job security is applicable
• One month's notice on either side applies for discontinuing the part-time engagement
• Working hours will be as per duty schedule/roster decided by the Medical Superintendent, BHEL Hospital
• Conveyance charges are payable on actual basis for travel up to 30 km one way (ceiling Rs. 4,500/month) and beyond 30 km (ceiling Rs. 6,000/month on case-to-case basis), linked with biometric attendance
