Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the state government.

Bihar Police SI Physical Standard Test:-
UR/ BC (Male) - Height - 165 cms, Chest - 81-86 cm
EBC/ SC/ ST (Male) - Height - 160 cms, Chest - 79-84 cm
UR/ BC/ EBC (Female) - Height - 155 cms, Weight - 48 kg
SC/ ST (Female) - Height - 155 cms, Weight - 48 kg

Bihar Police SI Physical Efficiency Test:-
Running - Male-1.6 KM in 6 Minutes 30 Sec, Female-1 Km in 6 Minutes.
High Jump - Male-4 Feet, Female-3 Feet.
Long Jump - Male-12 Feet, Female-9 Feet.
Gola Fek - Male-16 Pound Ball Must Be Thrown At Least 16 Feet, Female-12 Pound Ball Must Be Thrown At Least 10 Feet.
