Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Indian Council of Medical research (ICMR), New Delhi sponsored project entitled “Indigenous development of low-cost, portable, high-speed confocal Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscopy (cSLO) system for fluorescence angiographic and photoreceptors imaging of human eye" at Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. Number of Posts: One
3. Eligibility: Postgraduate Degree in Biotechnology/Bioengineering, Physics, Optics, Biomedical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication Engineering and related disciplines (Professional Course) selected through a process described through any one of the following:
(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR- UGC, NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE and equivalent examinations
(b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, CUCET, AICTE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
4. Desirable: (1) Experience in MATLAB, (2) Experience in Optical components handling
5. Fellowship/month: Rs 31,000/- + applicable HRA as per ICMR and BIT, Mesra rule.
6. Tenure: Six months (Extendable up to 2 years subjected to excellent performance and availability of Funds)

Selection Procedure
1. Short listed candidates will be intimated through e-mail only (probable date of online interview: January 20, 2022). No separate interview call letters will be dispatched.
2. The appointment under this project is to be treated as temporary for two years subject to availability of the fund and will be governed by the rules / conditions of the sanctioned project.
