Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for filling up the following post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Core Research Grant, Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India sponsored purely time bound project titled “Secured Data Analytics for Microgrid Energy Management System through Blockchain Technology” undertaken in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Jharkhand, India.

2. Description of the Project:

The project involves the development of Blockchain based secured Microgrid Energy Management System for peer-peer energy trading along with design of primary and secondary controller and demand side management applications. 

3. No. of position: 01

4. Project duration: 03 years

5. Essential qualifications:

M. Tech. or equivalent degree with specialization in Power Systems with first class or equivalent CGPA. Candidate should have a preliminary knowledge on executing the work related to microgrid operation and control, computer programming skill for developing programs related to the area of power systems for the successful completion of the project. Candidates with prior knowledge of Blockchain and experience of publishing research papers will be preferred.

6. Salary: Rs. 31000/- per month for first two years, Rs. 35000/- for last year (16% HRA)
