Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible Indian candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – One Post (01) under the Core Research Grant, Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India sponsored purely time bound research project (EEQ/2021/000665 dated 04 Feb, 2022) entitled

i. “Investigation of the forming behaviour of high strength thermal resistant (HSTR) Metals/ alloys through incremental sheet metal forming” undertaken in the Department of Production Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, off Campus-Patna, India.

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. Project Description:

The project involves the optimized forming condition for ISMF of high strength thermal resistant (HSTR) such as Iron and its alloys, nickel and cobalt material as these are used in various application but in various sectors. Presently, customized parts of (sheet metals) are highly in demand that has to form with sudden change is design can meet with ISMF.

3. No. of position: 01 (one)

4. Nature and Duration: The   post is purely temporary in nature for 03 years or till the duration of project.

5. Minimum qualifications: Post-graduate degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Mechanical / Production/ Manufacturing/Production & Industrial Engineering/ Metallurgy, OR related disciplines from a recognized University/Institute in India.

6. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 31,000 /- per month (+HRA) for first two years and Rs. 35,000 /- per month (+HRA)   for the third year as per SERB norms. The post is purely temporary and terminated with the completion of the project.
